Arnold Chamber of Commerce Announces Business Person of the Year
Dan Govero, president of Govero Land Services in Imperial, was chosen for the 2012 award.
The Arnold Chamber of Commerce has announced that Dan Govero is the 2012 Business Person of the Year.
The award is given on an annual basis by the outgoing chamber president. The recipient must be a chamber member and contribute to not only the business sector, but also the Arnold community.
Govero is president of Govero Land Services in Imperial, which he owns and operates. The company is a civil engineering and surveying firm, established in 1988.

Govero currently serves as a board member for the Economic Development Corporation of Jefferson County and as chairman for the Jefferson County Port Authority. He is also president of the Jefferson County Growth Association and a member of the Board of Directors for Eagle Bank and Trust.
Additionally, Govero was appointed in 2010 by Gov. Jay Nixon to serve as a board member on the Missouri Board for Architects, Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors & Landscape Architects.
