Arnold Man Arrested After Gun Incident on Bender

A 46-year-old Arnold man was arrested on suspicion of three crimes related to gun use after an incident on July 25.

A victim reported visiting the man's home on Bender Lane with three friends just after 3 p.m. He planned to visit his stepson and retrieve keys to his vehicle.

The man answered the door with a handgun, pointed it at the victim's face, threatened him and told him to leave the property, the victim reported. He also waved the gun at the victim's three friends.

He was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action and being a felon in possession of a firearm. An investigation is ongoing.
