Arnold's July 4 Celebration Begins a Day Early

Barbecue vendors and carnival rides will be available at 4 p.m. at Arnold City Park.

Just a quick reminder, the City of Arnold's July 4 celebration will begin today, July 3, at at 4 p.m.

Food vendors and nine carnival rides will be open to the public at that time. There is no parking or admissing fee at the park.

There is a fee for the carnival rides unless people have purchased $15 armbands, with the coupon attached to this article, that provide unlimited rides on Tuesday, July 3.

Without the coupon the armband is $20.

Ride tickets cost $18 for 20 tickets, said an email from Teresa Kohut of Arnold's Parks and Recreation department.

People interested in buying armbands at a discount

No word on whether the armbands are available for Wednesday.

As of early Tuesday morning, the fireworks show is cancelled due to a fire hazards.

Patch is asking the whether rainfall, during the day or overnight, would allow the fireworks show for Tuesday or Wednesday night.
