Arnold Zoning Commission Reviewing California Retailer’s Plans

Publicly-held Ross Stores intends to open a 25,000 square foot store in Arnold Commons.

The Arnold Planning and Zoning Commission will review Arnold Commons construction plans for a California-based retailer on Tuesday, July 10.

Ross Stores, Inc., an S&P 500 company with a total stock holding worth about $15 billion, wants to build a 25,000 square foot store next to in Arnold Commons.

The Ross Dress for Less building will be about 7,000 square feet larger than the pet supplies retailer, plans said.

Ross Stores generated more than $8.6 billion in revenues by selling low-priced clothing in more than 1,000 stores in 29 states the company website said.  The company sells name brand and designer clothing, accessories and footwear at a daily discount between 20-60 percent, the company website said.
