The Boxtrolls Cardboard Challenge Contest To Be Held This Weekend

The contest challenges children to create unique projects out of cardboard and recycled materials.

The Imagination Foundation, creators of the Global Cardboard Challenge, are partnering with the 3D stop motion film “The Boxtrolls” to present The Boxtrolls Cardboard Challenge Contest this weekend.

The contest will be hosted by Teresa Maxwell from Mix 93 FM at the Science City at Union Station on Sept. 21, from 2 to 4 p.m.

The Challenge, inspired by the documentary “Caine’s Arcade,” is a celebration of children’s creativity and challenges kids to create their own projects out of cardboard and other recycled material using only their imaginations. The contest, which runs through September, will feature “What’s in the Box?”-themed packages for winners.
