Chevy Truck is Stolen Without the Keys in Barnhart

Friday, Feb. 8

Sometime between 11:30 p.m. on Feb. 7 and 5:30 a.m. on Feb. 8, a 1994 Chevrolet Truck was stolen on Ike Drive in Barnhart, according to a sheriff's department report. The victim parked his truck in his front yard with the doors locked and no keys inside the vehicle, the report notes. Someone apparently broke out the passenger window to enter the truck, but it's unknown how it was stolen without the keys.

Thursday, Feb. 7

A laptop computer, GPS unit, MP3 player and other electronics were reported stolen from a car parked on Westward Trails in Imperial. The incident reportedly occurred sometime between 11 p.m. on Feb. 6 and 12 p.m. on Feb. 7. The car was damaged in multiple places during the break-in, notes a sheriff's department report.
