Cooling Center Locations in Arnold, Jefferson County

With another week of 100+ degree heat forecast, Arnold and Jefferson County residents are welcome to go to cooling centers in the area.

Cooling centers, which are supported by the United Way, provide air conditioning to the public during Excessive Heat Advisories when the daytime temperatures are expected to range from 100 degrees to 104 degrees for four consecutive days, says the 211helps.org website. The United Way helps mange the website.

Prior to visiting a site, people should call to ask if a location is open and operating.
