Driver Found Asleep at Wheel at Shell Station Gas Pump

The woman was arrested for being in possession of suspected heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, Arnold police say.

A 22-year-old Arnold woman was arrested Thursday, March 21 after she was reported as being "slumped at the wheel" at the Shell Station at 2001 Richardson Rd. in Arnold.

Employees at the station called police around 10:30 p.m. and said the woman was asleep at the wheel at one of the gas pumps, said Maj. Nick McBroom, of the Arnold Police Department. The employees could not awaken the driver.

Police took the woman into custody for being in possession of suspected heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Following booking, she was released to an acquaintance pending arrest warrant.
