Imperial Woman Killed in Early Morning Car Crash

Angela Chadd, 37, of Imperial, was killed in an early morning car accident Wednesday (Jan. 16) on Miller Road, east of Spring Forest Drive, Imperial, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP).

According to the MSHP, Chadd was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Daniel McGrath, 49, of Ballwin, that was travelling eastbound on Miller Road. McGrath failed to negotiate a turn, ran off the road, struck a rock and a tree and then overturned.

Chadd was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:52 a.m. by the Rock Township Ambulance District staff. McGrath sustained minor injuries and was taken to St. Anthony's Medical Center, according to the MSRP. Neither Chadd nor McGrath were wearing a seat belt, the MSHP stated.
