Jason Jarvis Announces Plans to Run for State Senate

Jarvis, who ran for the Republican nomination for Jefferson County Sheriff in August, plans to run for Missouri Senator, Dist. 22 in 2014.

Jason Jarvis announced late Wednesday that he plans to run for the Dist. 22 Missouri Senate seat in 2014.

Jarvis, of Dittmer, ran unsuccessfully for the Republican nomination for Jefferson County sheriff in August.

E.J. Fleischmann, Jarvis' spokesperson, said Jarvis could not be reached because he is currently serving in Iraq.

Sen. Ryan McKenna (D-Crystal City) currently occupies the Dist. 22 seat. He was elected in 2006.
