The public library has a bunch interesting set of discussion topics this week.

—10 a.m., Saturday, May 5, at 6 North Café, 14438 Clayton Rd, Ballwin, MO. Arnold resident and school social worker, Jennifer Wallis will discuss her new children's book Adventures with Scarlet the Dolphin: Green Sea Turtles. Wallis met a dolphin, named Scarlet, on a family vacation. Nothing has given Jennifer more joy than reading the book she wrote to her own daughters.

Brown Bag Stories—11 a.m.-12 p.m., Monday, April 30, , 1701 Missouri State Rd. Bring a brown bag lunch and join your friends at the library for some great stories while you eat.

Migraines: Causes and Solutions—6:30-8:30 p.m., Monday, Jefferson County Public Library. Dr. Justin Hill from The Chiropractic Wellness Connection of Arnold will discuss possible causes and treatments for migraines and headaches.

My Aching Feet!—7 p.m., Tuesday, May 1, Jefferson County Public Library. Plantar fasciitis is a common cause of heel pain. Speakers will discuss the causes of plantar fasciitis, its symptoms, treatments and prevention.

Play a Friendly Chess Game—10 a.m., Saturday, May 5, Jefferson County Public Library. New to experience players are welcome to play chess in the Life Change Cafe the first Saturday of each month. Please remember to bring a chess board.
