No Major Injuries from Jeffco Car Flip

The car that flipped off Jeffco Boulevard on Monday afternoon is a total loss, the Arnold Police Department said.

Fortunately, no one was injured when a car left Jeffco Boulevard, broke through a chain link fence and flipped on to its roof on Monday, July 2, afternoon.

The car's driver and passenger had a few minor injuries, Arnold Police Major Nick McBroom said in an email to ArnoldPatch.

The driver took himself to a hospital for an examination, McBroom said.

The single-car wreck occurred at 1204 Jeffco Blvd., near a vacant building available for lease, reported Fenton-HighRidgePatch Editor Dan Barger who was in Arnold on Monday afternoon.

Barger also said Rock Community Fire Protection District, Rock Ambulance and the Arnold Police were on the scene minutes after the wreck occurred. The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrived a few minutes later.

Two supposed eyewitnesses said the occupants of the car scrambled out after it overturned, Barger reported.

McBroom said the car was a total wreck. There was no damage estimate for the fence.

The driver said, to police, that car's brakes locked on Monday afternoon.
