One Car Stolen, Three Others Broken Into on Lombard Lane in Imperial

Monday, Feb. 25

A black 2007 Honda Accord was reported stolen from a driveway on Lombard Lane in Imperial between midnight and 6 a.m. The owner told police that he had a spare set of keys to the Honda in another vehicle in his driveway, and that those keys were missing from that vehicle.  

Police received another call from a resident on Lombard Lane about a Velociraptor scanner stolen from a man's locked work truck. The victim told police the scanner belonged to his employer. While conducting an area canvass, the officer ran into two other residents who had items stolen from their vehicles. A woman said she was missing an IPOD charger cable and a man told police he was missing a large speaker box containing two 12-inch speakers. Officers are still investigating thefts.

Wednesday, Feb. 27

Between 1:30 a.m. and 7:50 a.m., a Cannon digital camera, a Dell laptop with case and charger and a pair of prescription sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Birchwood Drive in Barnhart. The items were valued at $1,990.
