Polar Opposites Ice Cream Closing

Polar Opposites Ice Cream and Frozen Yogurt announced on Facebook this weekend that August 25 will be their last day.

Here's what they said on Facebook:

"We are disappointed to report that Sunday, Aug 25th will be Polar Opposites final day. For all of you who have supported us, we thank you kindly. In order for any of you to get the fix you need, we are offering 2 for 1 quarts until we close, while our supplies last. Come on in and bring your friends...I'd rather give the ice cream to you than to throw out our leftovers."

The ice cream shop opened in time for last summer between the Panda Express and Starbucks at Arnold Crossroads Mall located near the intersection of north Jeffco Boulevard and Missouri State Highway.

"This is such sad news!" Karla Bryant wrote on Facebook. "We have been coming there since the doors opened! My son loves your ice cream! What will we do for our family get togethers for desert now? We hate to hear when local 'mom & pops' go out of business! Such a sad day in the ice cream world!"
