Ballwin Man Hospitalized Following Crash
A man from Ballwin was hospitalized after a car collision that occurred Saturday night.

A man from Ballwin and a woman from Moscow Mills, MO both were hospitalized with serious injuries following a three-car collision that occurred Saturday night in St. Charles.
State police said Ballwin resident Tyler A. Worlund, 22, was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 around 7:38 p.m. when his 2005 Mazda collided with another Mazda driven by Elizabeth L. Hitt, 22, of Moscow Mills. Police said Worlund's car collided with Hitt's vehicle head-on, causing both cars to rotate facing north and south. The two cars then were hit by a third vehicle, a 2011 Kia Soul driven by Edward A. Burns, 20, of St. Augustine, FL.
Police said Worlund and Hitt were treated for serious injuries at in Creve Coeur and in St. Charles, respectively. Burns, along with his car's 21 year-old passenger Ben Gomez of San Juan Capo, CA, both were treated for minor injuries at St. Joseph Health Center.
