Ballwin Police: 'Hobby Lobby' Shoplifted; Cars Robbed
Ballwin police report multiple recent crime incidents relating to shoplifting, car robberies and theft from a home.

• A resident reported to the that someone stole a Hewlett Packard digital camera and Canon digital camera, as well as 3 lenses from his home last month. The crime reportedly happened between Sunday, March 13 and Saturday, March 19 at a residence at the 800 block of Woodruff Drive. Police said the crime may have been committed by a houseguest. Police said the losses totaled at roughly $2,300.
• Police reported that a wallet containing a driver's license and credit card were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Thursday, March 31 that was parked at the 200 block of Jacob Lane.
• Police said a vehicle's trunk and rear window were damaged reportedly by BB gun pellets during the overnight hours of Saturday, April 2 at the 100 block of Steamboat Lane. Police said the damage is estimated at roughly $700.

• Also on April 2, police said two teenage girls and a woman in her 40s stole items from the jewelry aisle of on Manchester Road. Police said the three females, all white, left the store in a grey GMC Yukon.
• Police reported that a 2005 Chrysler Town & Country parked at in Ballwin had its window broken the morning of Tuesday, April 5. Stolen were a purse containing credit cards, a checkbook and cash. The estimated value of the theft is $75, but the estimated vehicle damage is $220.

• Police reported that a 2004 Toyota Highlander window was broken into mid-afternoon on Tuesday, April 5 at the 400 block of Mayfair, but nothing was stolen. The damage is estimated at $250.
