Bikers Unite! Dirty Spokes Race Set for Sunday
It's the third annual mountain bike race at Castlewood State Park.

For the third year, the city of Ballwin is sponsoring the Dirty Spokes Mountain Bike race on the trails of Castlewood State Park.
The race is Sunday, but racers can still register on the city's website. It starts at 8 a.m. and is expected to end at 11 a.m. If there's rain, the rain date is April 21.

If you're interested, you'll want to register in one of three categories (note: each lap of the course is about 4 miles):

Category A: Five laps. Experienced riders. This race officially starts at 9 a.m.
Category B: Three laps. Intermediate riders. This race starts after category A is finished, at approximately 10:30 a.m.
Category C: Two laps. Beginner and younger riders. Starts at the same time as category B.
At this point, registration for the event is $35 and is open to riders 12 and up.
