BRIEF: Sears Appliance Store in Ballwin Closing

The store at 15424 Manchester Road in Ballwin is expected to close this weekend, a freelance ad rep told Ballwin-Ellisville Patch.

William Greene, who on Thursday afternoon displayed a street-sign advertising the store's liquidation sale, said the store was likely to close in about three days.

"It just depends on how fast they can sell whatever's left," Greene said.

The phone line at the Ballwin retailer has been disconnected, and calls to Sears corporate headquarters seeking comment were not immediately returned Thursday.
