Carman Students Learn About the Cool Dogs of Mushing
The sleigh pulling dogs were at hit at Carman Elementary School outside Ballwin on Thursday.
Students at Carman Trails Elementary School got to hear from professional mushers through the "Pulling Together" program on Thursday.
The program was led by Nature's Kennel owners Ed and Tasha Stielstra. Ed is a seven-time Iditarod finisher, and wife Tasha is a fellow musher and former school teacher.
