Thieves Steal from Cars in Ballwin

The Ballwin Police Department reports several cases of theft from a vehicle that occurred earlier this month.

Thieves stole items such as digital music players, computers and wallets from multiple cars parked in Ballwin earlier this month, Ballwin police reported.

The incidents occurred “during the midnight hours” the evenings of May 14, 16 and 17, with stolen property including MP3 players, GPS units, laptop computers, wallets, credit cards, loose change and cash totaling more than $2,000. The cars stolen from were parked in the:

• 400 block of Maymont Drive
• 700 block of Henry Avenue
• 400 block of Manocrest Lane
• 200 block of Sweetcreek Drive
• 500 block of Fieldstone Lane
• 500 block of Highland Ridge Drive
• 100 block of Five Meadows Lane
• 300 block of New Ballwin Road

Police said most of the vehicles had been left unlocked. The Ballwin Police Department asks all residents to please remember to lock all vehicle doors when they are left unattended.
