Castlewood Plans to Rock History Saturday
The state park in Ballwin plans to host an assortment of historical exhibits and other outdoor entertainment this weekend.

Swooping birds-of-prey, canoe races, big-band music and more all will find a home this weekend in Ballwin at one of the only places that could hold them: Castlewood State Park
The state park in Ballwin will host "Castlewood Days" Saturday, which will feature a menagerie of exhibits, games and promises of wildlife, all of which Park Superintendent Randy Becknell said should give the day a broad appeal.
"We will offer live music from the early 1900s through 1940s ... games for kids and adults alike including an "Indian Ball"exhibition game, reputed to have originated in St. Louis, and an interpretation of how it was here in the Roaring Twenties by a small group of former local citizens who lived during that time period," Becknell said in an email.
