Castlewood State Park Reopens After Suspected Suicide

BALLWIN, MO — Castlewood State Park was closed Memorial Day morning after a man took his own life there, the Post-Dispatch reports. Authorities initially closed the park, but as of about noon, the majority of the park had been reopened. The area where the suicide took place is still cordoned off and detectives are on scene.

Police have not released the identity of the man or any additional details surrounding his death.
