Crestview Construction Underway
Will renovations at Crestview Middle School in Ballwin wrap up before next week's start of the new school year?
Construction at in Ellisville made progress this week as crews implemented new infrastructure paid for by a bond issue voters approved last spring.
Several of the additions aren't officially scheduled to be completed until Fall of 2012, such as renovations and additions to the band and orchestra rooms at Crestview, the library and enclosed walkway entrances at the school's north and south ends.
This fall, full-time teachers at Crestview and other schools throughout the Rockwood School District are scheduled to be issued laptop computers under the bond issue, which voters approved in April 2010 allotting roughly $55 million to various school improvements.

Wi-fi internet access on campus and a new voicemail system were installed at Crestview last fall.
