Old Ballwin Schoolhouse Hosts Open-House Sunday
The Ballwin Historical Commission will host an event later this month to highlight the completed restoration of the Old Ballwin Schoolhouse.
The Ballwin Historical Commission is scheduled to host a special ceremony at the Old Ballwin Schoolhouse at the end of this month to celebrate the completion of a years-long renovation process.
The Old Ballwin School House, which sits immediately east of Ballwin Elementary School, is a pretty far cry from its contemporary neighbor with a total of two classrooms split with a divided doorway.

The city paid $15,000 in 2007 to help pay for earlier renovations to the school house, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported, and has held in conjunction with the historical commission to complete the restoration.
To celebrate the project's full restoration, an open house will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Old Ballwin Schoolhouse just east of . A dedication ceremony is scheduled for 2 p.m.
