'Dive-In' To a Friday Movie at Ellisville EDGE
The Ellisville EDGE Aquatic Center will be putting a cinematic twist on summer fun Friday night.

If the allure of swimming in cool water in a warm night under the stars isn't reason enough to bring you to the Ellisville Aquatic Center on Friday, then perhaps a special addition to the twilight swim will draw you into the water.
The Ellisville Parks Department is hosting a featured showing of the 2010 animated film, "How to Train Your Dragon," which patrons will enjoy on an oversized projection screen adjacent to the EDGE Aquatic Center pool.
"You should be able to see it from the pool," said Jamie Conway, assistant recreation director. "It's probably about 20 feet tall."

Conway said organizers hope to bring out around 100 people or perhaps a few hundred, who will be privy to the pool's usual perks such as a full concession stand, including ice cream, pizza and other goodies, but to be enjoyed under a dark summer sky.
The will maintain regular hours from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, but will reopen at 8:15. Conway said the film will begin around sunset some time close to 8:30.
