Ellisville Elks Veterans Retirement Home Visit

On Saturday November 4, 2017, the Ellisville Elks held our Semi-Annual Visit to the St. James Veterans Retirement Home. Our lodge met on Friday night and gathered all the donated gifts from our members, and then created goodie bags for all the Veterans at the Retirement Home. We departed our Lodge early on Saturday so that we could BBQ hamburgers, brats, and hotdogs for the Vets and Staff at the Retirement Home. This year we had the honor of joining forces with the St. Louis # 9 Lodge they helped the Veterans receive food from the food line, handed out the goodie bags, handed out patriotic caps, and provided Music by Lisa London and her husband for all the Veterans to enjoy. The band played until all Veterans had to retire for the day. The Ellisville Elks also used the Anniversary Grant to purchase all the food, and patriotic caps.
