On October 7, 2017 the Ellisville Elks #2664 held our Annual Youth Fishing Derby at Ballwin Park. We had a great turnout with 15 participants, two of which were walk-up participants. All the kids had a great time but we had to cut the fishing derby short, due to inclement weather, but not before Sam Strygewski caught 10 fish, and won the trophy for most fish caught, and Sophia Lane caught a 14 in albino catfish for the largest fish caught, and Brooklynn Ryan won a trophy for the smallest fish
