Fontbonne Honors Ballwin Alumni
Two residents of Ballwin were honored for their professional achievements at an awards ceremony hosted by Fontbonne University.

Outstanding contributions to their professional fields, their alma mater and their community earned Ballwin residents Victor S. Wang and Kim Furlow special honors at a recent Fontonne University Alumni Awards luncheon.
Wang received the school's Professional Achievement Award at the recent ceremony. Wang graduated from Fontbonne in 1990 and now teaches as a full professor at the university's art school, where he has taught for 20 years. Wang's art has been the subject of exhibits in St. Louis, Chicago, New York and abroad, a Fontbonne University representative said. He also has authored two books. Wang holds a Master of Arts degree and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Fontbonne.
Also honored at Sunday's ceremony was Kim Furlow, who was the recipient of the 2011 Service to the Community Award. Furlow graduated from Fontbonne in 1986. Furlow is continuing an active career in acting and vocal performance through local and regional productions. In 2009, she and her husband founded Dramatic License Productions, which presents cabaret and theater performances as well as acting classes and summer drama camps for youth.
