Laptop and Jewelry Stolen in Ellisville Burglary

The Ellisville Police Department reports a case of larceny and a case of burglary this week.

• A home was burglarized between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 10 in the 400 block of Bluff Meadow Court. Police said the home was accessed through a basement door that one or more people forced open. A laptop computer valued around $1,200 and an undetermined amount of jewelry were reported stolen.

• A laptop computer and cash were stolen sometime between 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11 and 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12 from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 200 block of Carmel Woods Drive. The losses were valued at $850.
