Patch iPhone App Available for Free Download

The mobile Patch app went live this week, which means readers now can take us everywhere. The iPhone app went live this week in Apple’s App Store and features a variety of ways for users to stay connected and keep up-to-date on what's happening around Ballwin and Ellisville or any Patch community.

For starters, the Patch app will consist of all the content availible on the website, including community news, weather, local business listings and events in the city. Users can read the latest articles on the city council’s recent vote, the best place to grab lunch and stay informed of police news.

Readers also can share their thoughts by commenting on stories, uploading photos and browsing or commenting on business listings. They can even share their favorite stories or business listings with friends on Facebook or by e-mail with only a few quick swipes.

For our Android users, developers said a separate application is coming soon.
