​​The Rockwood Board of Education has approved the hiring of Mr. Cody Dusenberry as the new principal at Chesterfield Elementary School

​​The Rockwood Board of Education has approved the hiring of Mr. Cody Dusenberry as the new principal at Chesterfield Elementary School, beginning July 1, 2021. Mr. Dusenberry replaces Dr. Meg Brooks, who is retiring after 24 years with ​the district.Currently, Mr. Dusenberry is assistant principal at Stanton Elementary School, where he has worked since 2018. Prior to that, he was an administrative intern in the City of St. Charles School District, where he also taught fifth-grade math and science for four years. Additionally, he has served as the Summer Academy principal at Bowles Elementary. Mr. Dusenberry earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Arts in School Administration from Lindenwood University. ​"I am extremely honored and blessed to become the next principal at Chesterfield Elementary,” said Dusenberry. “The school is known for its great student achievement, tremendous staff and amazing community involvement. I am incredibly excited to join the Chesterfield family, and I look forward to getting to know my students, staff and community."Mr. Dusenberry lives with his wife, Alex, who is a college and career counselor at Lafayette High, and son, Dominic, in Olivette.
