The Rockwood Board of Education has approved the hiring of Dr. Anthony Lasley as a new assistant principal at Wildwood Middle School beginning July 1, 2021. Dr. Lasley replaces Dr. Jason Lievanos, who has been named the new assistant principal at Kehrs Mill Elementary School.Currently, Dr. Lasley is a special education coordinator at Uthoff Valley Elementary and Rockwood Summit High School, a position he has held since 2015. Previously, he worked as a speech-language pathologist for 15 years in the Rockwood, Parkway and Hazelwood school districts. Dr. Lasley earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Communication Disorders and Sciences from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. He also earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Maryville University, where he is currently an adjunct professor. “I am truly humbled to be a new assistant principal at Wildwood Middle School and join the exceptional Timberwolves community,” said Lasley. “This position will provide me the opportunity to connect and support the students and families during a very pivotal time in a student's life.”Dr. Lasley lives with his wife, Natalie, and two daughters in Wildwood.
