West County Fire Chief Unsure of Reason for Demotion
David Frazier said he could not explain why he was moved into the position of 'Deputy Chief of Logistics' last week, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
A shakeup of the chain of command at the occurred last week, but the reasons behind the change have not been disclosed.
Former Chief David Frazier told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that last Monday, he was moved into the position of Deputy Chief of Logistics, while Jeff Sadtler assumed the role of acting Chief. Frazier told the Post-Dispatch he was unaware of why the changed occurred.
The fire department serves Manchester, Town & Country, as well as various parts of St. Louis County, including Ballwin, Des Peres and the Village of Twin Oaks, the Post-Dispatch added, also pointing out that West County EMS' annual contract with Town & Country was reduced by roughly $500,000 this year following renegotiations.
