Cedar Lake Cellars To Host Wicked Wine Run
Winery to feature 5K and 1K recreational runs
Cedar Lake Cellars, a winery and event center, will host the Wicked Wine Run on Sat., Aug. 13 at 11008 Schreckengast Rd. in Wright City, Mo. The two options – a 5K run with celebratory wine at the finish and the 1K tasting walk with four wine tasting stops along the route – are for participants 21 years of age and older.
The 5K Wicked Run begins at 6 p.m. and the 1K Wicked Tasting Walk starts at 7:30 p.m. Run participants must finish in one hour or less. There will be prizes for craziest outfits, as well as the top three male and female runners. A post-race party includes musical entertainment by Big Rain, as well as food and beverages for purchase.
