Chesterfield: Polls Closed 7PM, Countdown Begins

By 2:30pm Tuesday in Chesterfield, Highcroft Ridge Elementary School had its 218th voter walk in the door, and use a touch screen voting machine.

Another one or two voters came in just behind. Chesterfield City Hall did not look too much busier shortly after that.

It's Primary election day, August 7.

Chesterfield has some 48,000 residents, with three-quarters being of voting age, according to Wikipedia.
