Midwest BankCentre Opens New Full-Service Branch in Chesterfield

New Location Also Hosts Bank’s 24-Person Mortgage Services Team

Midwest BankCentre celebrated its grand opening today for a new branch at 500 Chesterfield Center, adjacent to the main entrance to Chesterfield Mall off Clarkson Road in Chesterfield, Mo. The new 11,463-square-foot facility is also home to the bank’s 24-person mortgage services team, which has relocated from Clayton, Mo.

The new branch in Chesterfield consolidates and expands upon the bank’s previous presence at 16024 Manchester in Ellisville and a limited-service facility at Friendship Village-Chesterfield. It is the third Midwest BankCentre branch opened in the first half of 2017. Previously, it opened full-service banks at Friendly Temple in north St. Louis City and at Lindenwood University’s University Commons mixed-use development in the city of St. Charles. In total, it has 19 locations across metro St. Louis.

“The new Chesterfield bank enables us to expand benefits and services to our growing group of customers,” said Midwest BankCentre Chairman and CEO Jim Watson. “As personal banking needs evolve, we are committed to having a physical presence in locales where customers want to do business and to facilitate the mobile banking, mobile deposit, Apple Pay and web-based insurance services that continue to grow in popularity, particularly with our Millennial customers.”

The 10-person banking team at 500 Chesterfield Center is led by Regional Presidents Dave Warning and Mike Flavin for commercial banking and BankCentre Leader Carlos Carter for retail banking. Both Warning and Flavin are past presidents of the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce.

The bank features three indoor teller stations, customer computer kiosks, a 24-hour ATM and three drive-up banking lanes. It also offers a 24-seat community meeting room equipped with a big-screen TV, WiFi service and a whiteboard for complimentary use by civic, business and nonprofit groups.

Braun Construction Management Services was general contractor for the space remodeling with O’Toole Design Associates serving as the interior designer.
