Robot Schools Parkway Kids on Bus Safety
"Buster The Bus" helps the youngest of kids learn the ropes before they get on a school bus for possibly the first time ahead of the opening day of classes.
Written by Gregg Palermo.
Incoming kindergarden students at Parkway School district schools are getting a chance to learn from the experts about the do's and don'ts of school bus safety in the weeks leading up to the first day of class.
A team of bus drivers are joining "Buster The Bus" has been making the rounds, visiting each district elementary school to educate kids about the safest way to enter, ride and exit a school bus. It is also a time for parents, anxious about sending their children on the bus for the first time, to get questions answered. After learning from "Buster", the kids get a chance to take a spin in Buster's big friend "Billy Bob" for a look at the real thing.
