Sauce Mag: April Special at Oceano Will Satisfy 'Seafood Jones'

Twenty-five bucks gets a giant selection from the restaurant's April tasting menu.

Chesterfield's Oceano Bistro on Chesterfield Parkway (along with its sister restaurant in Clayton) got some love from Sauce Magazine, which featured a blurb about the eatery in its weekly "Edible Weekend" newsletter recently.

The magazine focused on Ocean's "new April tasting menu," which brings a host of seafood choices for a $25 tab.

Says Sauce: "For the first course, you get to choose between freshwater prawns in a saffron reduction, and jumbo lump crab cakes with a Meyer lemon vinaigrette and lemongrass coconut emulsion. The second course brings seafood chowder with Peekytoe crab and smoked tomato butter, or mixed spring greens dressed in balsamic vinaigrette with blue cheese and pommes frites."

The blurb goes on to feature a third-course option of herb-crusted sea bass; and a finisher of "swoon"-worthy (their words) creme brulee with strawberries or a berry cobbler with lemon streusel.

It's done in April.
