WGU Missouri Surprises Nightshift Nurses at St. Luke's Hospital with Cookies for Working an extra hour during Daylight Saving Time

While many residents across the St. Louis area were able to enjoy an extra hour of sleep as Daylight Saving Time came to an end early Sunday morning, that’s not the way the cookie crumbled for those working the night shift. Most of these employees – including nurses and other health care professionals – needed to clock an extra hour that night. To help sweeten their shift and show appreciation the more than 100 nurses working overnight at St. Luke’s Hospital, representatives from the local nonprofit, fully online university WGU Missouri surprised them with freshly baked cookies from Hot Box.
