Celebrate Craft Beer Week With Schlafly, Wine Merchant
We're running down 5 great things happening in and around Clayton and Richmond Heights this weekend.

As the weekend draws near, what is there to do in Clayton and Richmond Heights? Patch is running down five places or events happening in Mid-County this weekend for you and the family.
Thursday, Aug. 1
- Head to the Schlafly Tap Room anytime between 6-8 p.m. for casual sampling of six Schlafly Craft Beers expertly paired with six distinctive artisan cheeses from The Wine Merchant in Clayton. The event is part of St. Louis Craft Beer Week. There will be a special brewer and cheesemonger discussion at 7 p.m.. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online or in person at the Schlafly Tap Room and Schlafly Bottleworks.Â
- The second St. Louis Rams Fan Fest is this weekend. A free St. Louis Rams scrimmage will be held at 12:30 p.m. with doors opening at 11:30 a.m. At the end of the scrimmage (2:30 p.m.), Rams players will sign autographs.Â
- Mary Poppins is playing The Muny in Forest Park this week. The show starts Thursday, July 25, and runs though Sunday, Aug. 2.Â
- Prairie Farms Summer Zoo Weekends — On Friday, Saturday and Sunday the Zoo is open extended hours from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.Â
- Gridiron Glory: The Best of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Exhibit – This exhibit features more than 200 football artifacts, rare photos, and one-of-a-kind documents from the Pro Football Hall of Fame collections. Many have never been seen outside of the Hall of Fame.Â
