Double Murder Handed Off To Major Case Squad

BELLEFONTAINE NEIGHBORS, MO — Police in Bellefontaine Neighbors say they have handed off a double murder investigation to the Major Case Squad, a city-county task force.

Iesha Emery, 33, and Jerry Cannon, 40, were found fatally shot Sunday morning in the 1100 block of Oran Drive, just north of Riverview Boulevard and just outside the St. Louis City limits.

Police believe the shooting happened sometime Saturday night. A witness told the Post-Dispatch that she heard gunshots around 7:30 p.m.

Police haven't identified any suspects.
