St. Louisans age 50 and older can learn about great Renaissance artists in this three-session class. The first session happened Oct. 19. Quoting from the fall OASIS catalog: "Beginning in the early 1400s in Florence, Italy, the European world experienced a great flowering of art and intellectual pursuits. Aided by new technical knowledge, artists achieved great heights in painting and sculpture. Survey will include Piero della Francesca, Masaccio, Donatello, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, a selection of women artists of the period and more."
