Residents of and employees are invited to offer comments about the department at a public information session at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9. The meeting is being held as part of the department's voluntary efforts to achieve re-accreditation for a fourth time.

Those who are unable to attend the meeting may provide feedback between 2 and 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9 by calling 314-290-8585. Comments in person or by phone will be limited to 10 minutes and must address the agency's ability to comply with standards established by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).
