St. Louisans age 50 and older can learn how to draw using this French art technique during a six-part class.
Quoting from the fall OASIS catalog:
"French for 'deceive the eye,' this art technique involves creating extremely realistic imagery to create an optical illusion that the depicted object appears in three dimensions. In this beginner's class, you will learn how to draw realistic images, such as a window, that deceive viewers into believing the image is real. Media will include pencils and charcoal — a supply list will be provided."
