Kangaroo Shoe Inventor, a Clayton Graduate, Has Died

Bob Gamm also studied at Washington University, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

The and Washington University graduate who invented a popular 1980s shoe has died at age 91, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

Bob Gamm developed shoes called Kangaroos, which included a pocket with a zipper.

Quoting from the Post-Dispatch article:

"The company sold hundreds of millions of dollars of shoes during the 1980s. Mr. Gamm became a well-known figure in St. Louis and throughout the business world."
