101 ESPN Names Midday Hosts Chris Duncan and Anthony Stalter

The pair will replace the Post-Dispatch's Bernie Miklasz, who stepped down to concentrate more time at the newspaper.

The sports radio world in the St. Louis area was waiting to hear who would succeed St. Louis Post-Dispatch columnist Bernie Miklasz after he announced in March he would step away from the midday gig at 101 ESPN Radio to concentrate on his work for the newspaper.

We got the answer today: Chris Duncan, a member of the 2006 St. Louis Cardinals' World Series team, and veteran sports broadcaster Anthony Stalter will team up in the 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekday slot starting on May 1.

“This is a huge opportunity for both me and Anthony, and we’re excited about taking over the midday time slot on 101 ESPN," Duncan said in a statement.
