Christmas Tree Shopping In The Creve Coeur Area? Find Local Farms
Many local Christmas tree farms are taking precautions amid the pandemic to ensure you and your family have a happy holiday.
Creve Coeur, MO — As the ongoing coronavirus pandemic threatens a long list of 2020’s quintessential holiday traditions, it may still be possible to find the perfect Christmas tree for your family this year — and do it safely.
At least 25 million real Christmas trees are sold each year across America, and currently, 350 million are growing in all 50 U.S. states. And despite these unprecedented times, the practice will continue in 2020. Christmas tree lots and choose-and-cut farms nationwide are taking precautions as the coronavirus pandemic worsens to ensure buyers can select a tree with minimal health and safety risk.
In fact, the National Christmas Tree Association has created a special guide including recommendations and best practices for Christmas tree sellers to follow, including frequently sanitizing items such as hand saws and tree cart handles, as well as countertops, restrooms and other areas.
