An Educator On A Mission To Help A Million Kids!

As the founder of MostValuablePD.com, Dr. Bryan Pearlman is becoming used to airports, hotels, and Uber rides. He is traveling the country speaking with educators about trauma, challenging behaviors, and ensuring that all students succeed. To date, he has presented in 100 schools and districts to over 12,000 educators. Dr. Pearlman says there is still a lot of work to do, "We started the concept of an educator training tour with the goal of working with at least a hundred thousand educators. This would then positively impact a million kids. We are off to a good start, but there is still a lot of work to do."

At a recent tour stop in Boston, an educator shared her experience as an audience member at the training, "In my 20 year career, I have heard hundreds of speakers at educator conferences, trainings, and school professional development days. This is the first time I can remember that I cried, laughed, and reflected very deeply all within a two-hour training."

Dr. Pearlman says that this experience is typical at his trainings, "During the trainings, I share data, research, and strategies that can be implemented immediately. However, the most important part of the trainings has to do with the stories that I share from my own experience as a struggling student and also stories from my days as a teacher and principal. These stories have parts that make people laugh and other parts that make some participants cry. These reactions show how much educator care about the kids they serve and that this is so much more than just a job."
