When was the business founded?: "Precision was founded in 1993, but first moved to Creve Coeur in 2009."

How did your business come to be?: "Precision was founded by Renae Eichholz in a small office in Belleville, IL. Renae is still with Precision now 20 years later and is a Vice President."

Why did you choose the area you did?: "Creve Coeur is a St. Louis neighborhood with lots of vitality, centrally located to much of Precision's West County client base and convenient for Precision's employees commuting to and from work."

What kind of services do you offer?: "Precision provides revenue cycle management to many physician practices and hospitals in the greater St. Louis metropolitan area but also has client in 17 states. Those services include the electronic transmission and the payment processing of medical billing claims, for both insurance carriers and patients. Precision also provides electronic health record clinical software licensing and support to physicians, as well as computer hardware, network and Internet services support to those clients."

What's a fact about your business that most customers probably don't know?: "Most St. Louis clients of Precision don't know that according to the Healthcare Billing Management Association (HBMA), the most widely acknowledged revenue cycle management industry association, Precision is one of the 50 largest companies of its type in the country."

What do you want your business to be best known for?: "Healthcare is rapidly changing under the new Accountable Care Act (the ACA - also known as Obama Care), with Health Information Exchanges, implementation of electronic health records and Accountable Care Organizations for example, adding great complexity to the manner in which healthcare is delivered in the U.S., along with providing great opportunity for better healthcare at lower cost.  Precision wants to be known for effectively facilitating the manner in which these changes occur."

What's your most popular product or service?: "Precision's most popular service is revenue cycle management, which is provided on twelve practice management (medical claims billing) software platforms. Hospital clients in particular find great value in engaging Precision to perform its service across a variety of such software systems."
