There is a strong possibility this is over-reaction.  However, district officials are taking the situation very seriously and are taking every precaution to ensure the safety of our students and our staff.  We will provide additional information during the day, as necessary."

FOX2 news reports that the threat came in the form of an Instagram account. Patch was first to report that district officials were investigating who had posted pictures to the social media site and had made crude comments about students.

FOX2 reports that a second Instagram account had been created and that the user profile picture was that of the shooter in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, CT.
